This pilot project is for installation of a new Napoleon Heat pump, providing heat to your home’s HVAC system in the winter and cooling in the summer.
It replaces the burning of fossil fuels down to an outside temperature of -30 degrees celcius. Your furnace will switch back over to gas automatically once it’s colder than -30 degrees.
This increase in efficiency will save you money on energy costs. If you’re on propane the savings are absolutely incredible! On natural gas the new thermostat will actually monitor the web and switch your furnace back and forth between heat pump and gas burning to save you the most money possible during operation.
